Strike Machine
« on: September 28, 2008, 11:27:39 PM »
Has anyone heard of this ball, as I have seen one for sale but cant find it on the track reviews section? How does it compare to the Power Machine in terms of reaction?

Overseas ball. Some have shown up around here, but I think they went mainly to Asia. Pure reactive pearl coverstock, seen one in action and it had good length.

It's a overseas ball. It has a skid/snap reaction to it.

it is a longer and stronger version of the original Machine.
Not necessarily weaker... but more skid/flip
have seen only one as the MAchine itself was not a big seller here and the strike was very rare to find.
the Mean on the other hand as well as the Robo Rule sold like crazy (though most buyers of the MM were not happy.... )

so...

Never got to throw the Strike Machine, but heard great things about it.  I still like and use the Meanie and Power.  Crazy how I can still find spots for them.

I would say it's a pearlized and polished version of the Mean Machine. Easy length, but a touch less than the Power Machine. While it's still able to provide you the smooth reaction just like the Mean Machine, instead of the hard flip at the dry of the Power Machine.
