Thinking about a ball.
« on: January 01, 2007, 04:50:47 PM »
The only Track ball I have ever used was a Crunch Time and I have my high game and both my high sets of 748 and 730 with it. The ball died a while ago and to top it off, I put it in the oven to try to take all the oil out of it, but I set the temp. probably a little to high at 210 and, well, I haven't thrown the ball in a while. But anyways, I was thinking about getting another Track ball due to having such success with the Crunch Time. The Power Machine was looking really good and it had similar specs to the Crunch Time. What do yall think about a ball?

pate,

I love the Power Machine. It handles most conditions that I see, although I have 3 of them with drillings to cover most conditions as well.

The Power Machine compared to the CrunchTime will offer a slightly different movment.....it is stronger at every part of the lane. It will still give you that same pin smashing ending.

Hey pate,

I also have to say that the Power Machine is anywhere from 5-7 boards stronger in comparison to the CrunchTime (dependent upon your overall hook).  Definitely still a very good piece to have in the bag.

I agree with carl and rick, and the one ball you can find cheap on ebay and what now is the solution pp ex and that would proby give you the same reaction based on the same core/cover on them.

The Power Machine is one of the best balls I've ever thrown.  Definitely worth getting one.
