Pulling out the 811 c/t
« on: November 05, 2014, 09:14:33 PM »
For some reason, I have never really matched up well to my 811 c/t. I have worked in my release since I gave up on it, and I am going to put inserts in it and give it a few games to try to win my loyalty. In my bag, my benchmark ball is a primal rage at 500+polish and also have a mastermind sanded at 1000 grit. What surface should I put on my 811 to compliment these two best? I really want something cleaner through the front than my primal rage, but without losing control in the back end. I would use my misfit pearl or 300c pearl, but moving back right with weaker equipment always seems to bite me.

How is yours laid out?  Mine is a great ball for me.  Drilled pretty tame and have a Mastermind drilled the same.  My mastermind is 500-4000.  The 811c/t is whatever the box finish is,4000 no polish I think. They are drilled pin up between the fingers and the Mastermind has a small balance hole.

I'd think if your Mastermind is 1000, maybe try the same or 2000 and see what happens.  Mine really sucks up thee oil, it never comes back with any visible.  It starts to die on the back then it is time for a trip to the dishwasher.
