I think the Track Temper is a "cheesy" name for a track bowling ball.. Does anyone agree??

With all the releases over the years....   Sooner or later, you will run out of "creative" names....

Think about it though. Why would the "parent" company release something other then their own first? If I were at the head of Ebonite I would release either an Ebonite or Hammer first. With the Hammer name being popular right now I would probably release in the same order they are. Plus why not build more hype about the new release of Track and Columbia.

they are getting all the money anyway, so it really doesnt matter which one sells first or last, gonna be the same amount of money in their pocket either way, why not release them all at the same time

not to mention most fall leagues have started by sept 10 and most have bought the new balls by the time fall league starts

Hey Legion members,

Just to help clarify, our balls are not coming last because Ebonite/Hammer "wants" to come first.  It is simply due to the fact that Columbia and Track had to put Brand Managers in place.  Columbia appointed Chad Murphy first and then FIGS just got the job.

Ball production is placed in order accordingly, that's all guys.  Please do not think that Ebonite sees us as a insignificant brand.  We "ARE" one family now.

Have to admit that "The Rising" is a clever take from "The Phoenix". It's obviously intended and I like it.

Love The Rising after Phoenix. Really like the Kinetic name after Inertia as well. Don't really get Temper. Wish they could have continued with "The Force".

Okay, this is what used to piss me off when Columbia owned Track. Looking at Columbia's catalog for this season they will have a complete arsenal of new equipment which includes 6 balls by 9/10. Track gets three balls (which I'm excited about) but you still have to use old equipment or other companies equipment to complete an arsenal.

Just bothers me because in the late 90's we had it all and I want it that way again.

Because when you release all at once a lot of people feel they need to "choose"  If you stagger releases, then people will have had time to save up and buy more equipment.  Very few will buy 6-8 balls at once, but I know a lot of guys that will buy 1-2/month 10 months out of the year.
