Wow, this is such a special ball. I haven't been this excited throwing a bowling ball in a long time. On reccomendation from Tony Chapman I have this ball, drilled, pin under and right of the finger(4 1/2 from the PAP) and a weighthole on the VAL 1 inch above my PAP. In box condition this ball just gets down the lane so well which is very suprising for a dull ball, but the way this thing stores energy and gets around the corner is simply amazing. It reminds me of the Green Messenger in the way it makes a recovery, just alot stronger. While it is one of the biggest hooking balls I've thrown in a long time, it's so versatile and consistant in its reaction through lane transitions there's never a problem adjusting to it. As long as the head oil is present, I can chase the oil line in all night. Being a two hander(about 18-19mph speed, between 480-500rpms) alot of times equipment is just too strong, or too early. The Slash is just right and is so compatible with me and my game. I've used this ball in at least 9 different houses now, all ranging in lengths of a THS, and I just never want to put it down.
One thing I love about this ball is that flush pocket taps are very very rare. I loved the Brunswick equipment I was throwing, but sometimes it just seemed like the perfect shot would leave an 8, 9, or 10 at the most awkward moments, costing me alot of big games. I've dumped every ball I had from "The B" and am pursuing another track purchase or two(I'll most likely wait until the end of may for their run of spring equipment). Who knows, I just might even get another Slash and go with a 5 1/2 pin to PAP placement and alot of polish(This should jacknife on the backend!). Just need something as a Step down from my Slash and Revmaster.
This is truely one of the best balls I've thrown in a long time and I'd suggest it for anyone just looking for something new.
