Track Magic Questions Abralon
« on: March 30, 2007, 01:59:32 PM »
Hey guys

I'm running out of Track Magic Clean and Polish. I guess it's been discontinued as I do not see it anywhere. This was a polish to 5000. What are you guys now using to get a 5000 finish?

I opened a new qt of Magic Shine and its a pink liquid. I don't see any compound in it. Is this a batch gone bad or something? How will this polish anything? I don't see a lot of sites selling qt of this. I guess I better order some more now and get some power wash as well.

I'm looking into getting some abralon pads. Like 4000, 2000, and 1000 to start with. Can I use an abralon pad with a Taxi Contour Block? Can I use it with Clean and Dull/Tacky, or polish? Will they wash out better than scotch-brite?

BTW: I did get a reply back from an Ebonite DSM. Ebonite is indicating they will keep Clean and Dull/Tacky. No decision was made on anything else as of yet.

I don't need the newest, The Track products made in Texas over the last few years are phenominal. I'm sure it will serve me well for years to come.

Hey Randy,

I'd suggest working your way up and then abralon to 4000.  Then you can add polish to that.

I haven't tried any polish or additive to an abralon pad at the same time, not sure how that would wash out.  I usually apply polish separately after I use the pads.  Hope this helps some bud...
