I am going to start converting my equipment to all Track over the next year. How does this sound for an arsenal:
Rule GP2 (Heavy)
Rule (Med/Heavy)
Freak-A-Zoid (Med/Med light)
Is there something I should throw in under the Freak-A-Zoid to replace my Barbed Wire? The only ball I will have that will be non-Track will be my Lane #1 XXXL. I won't give that up until Track puts out a plastic ball.

Maybe the Dry Heat for when the lanes are toasted and the Xception for medium lane conditions.

depends on how much you bowl ...and/or how many differnet looks you need for each condition.....
the FAZ should be able to cover a bunch of conditions....
you may want to add a Crunchtime, then the dry heat........
BUT....if you're a once per week bowler and a tourney every once in a while...you should be able to get away with 3 balls. A med-heavy thru medium light 1-2 punch, then a 3rd ball when lanes start to break down and/or dry out.
For example....Rule, eXeption, dry heat

I bowl 2 nights of league (down from 3 last year due to cost rise) plus practice. I usually bowl 3 tournaments a year, but I am wanting to start going to more tournaments on the weekends. I usually onlyuse 1 or 2 balls during leagu plus plastic. Wouldn't the Xception and the FAZ overlap too much?

My HexPlosion goes longer than the FAZ, the Dry Heat, Crash, and Crunch Time. All would fit, but for a true dry lane ball, I would pick the Dry Heat. Mine goes forever and still HITS hard!

That sounds like a very aggressive arsenal to me. I would want something that would not react so violently to the dry. I own a Dry Heat and I do not consider it a true dry lane piece. I always want at least one ball that gives me control at the break point. Why not keep the barbed wire?

If I cannot find a true fit, I deffinatly will keep it. I am very happy with it and it will be the LAST ball to be replaced. However, I am not real sure I qualify it as a true Dry lane ball either. Med/Dry yes. But as far as true Dry lane, I still have the XXXL.

When I go to league, here is what I carry
Rule
X-Ception
Animal (2)
Phenom
Phenom Unleashed
One Animal is dull, the other is OOB surface. I will probably replace one Animal with the GP2 when they arrive and use the other GP2 and Animal as tourney balls. This gives me:
GP2- Heavy
Animal- Light Heavy
Phenom- Heavy medium(killing them in my scratch league, averaged over 240 last 24 games)
Rule- Medium
Unleashed- For if the heads go, this is my go to ball.
X-Ception- Medium/backends.
I can cover almost everything I see in the High performance line.
