New Track balls......
« on: June 14, 2005, 07:04:27 AM »
Yep, theres another two out there. Was surfing on my distributors website tofay and wanted to see how may Arsenal Aggressives they have in stock. When the Arsenal section came up, there was this listing...

Arsenal Reactive Black/Copper/Silver  Same price as the other Arsenals.

I had not even HEARD of when the next ball would be released, let alone find it on my distributors site already. I obviously have zero info besides what I found today.

Looks like the Track line up will be even stronger!

One edit, I continued surfing and also found a new High Performance asymmetrical ball...

Rule Delta 1  Teal/White   Same price as the rest of the asymmetricals..

Sound like overseas names to me, especially "Rule Delta 1".  Arsenal Reactive sounds neat, though.  FAZ core with Powerplus solid cover, perhaps?  Goo reactive would also be very cool.

No overseas here, if its on my distributors website priced, then they will have it available for us to buy. No date from them, but they upload the data once they receive the announcement from the company, so it is a US ball.

Joy...more Track balls I want but can't afford...life is cruel
An arsenal reactive sure does sound nice. Although this new rule...I wonder exactly what they are trying to accomplish with this thing.

Maybe they're designed to require weight holes no matter how you drill them.  Since they'll be illegal anyway, they don't have to be approved.  Maybe Track is jumping on the unsanctioned bandwagon in preparation for the new, uhh, rules (Rules?).

I like lighter coloured balls because of their hypnotizing swirls, especially when used by high revs players....it's so fun to watch!

The Arsenal Reactive sounds interesting.  I wonder where this ball is going to fit in the Arsenal line.  My guess is under the Angular because of the reactive coverstock, but then again, if they use GOO reactive, that ball would be pretty darn aggressive!

I also do wonder how the Rule Delta 1 is supposed to fit in the high-performance asymmetrical line...like, how much more can they add without having overlaps?  There's already the GP2 for heavy, the Rule (although discontinued) for Med/Heavy, the Xception 5.0 for Med-Med/Heavy, and the Xception for Med/Light-Light.

Whatever the outcome, it would be very interesting to see; they're adding more balls to an already-excellent line-up, so I'm sure that Track's future line-up of balls would be VERY versatile and it should cater to the needs of all bowlers (not that it does right now) much better!

Sorry, no news on the new Arsenal and Rule, but the Slash and Freak-a-Zoid are remaining in the line, forming 4-ball combos in the Heat (Slash) and Arsenal(FAZ) price points.  All 4 fit together.  Arsenals are medium-low to low RG, Heats medium RG.

Thanks Brian. How about an expected release date??  Is there a plastic ball in the works?
