Not getting the 505C2. I mean, isn't the "C" supposed to be continuous, but in the description they made it go longer. Making a ball go longer isn't synonomous with continuation.
"C" has been used, as far a I recall,in Track balls for continuous and for control.
I guess it depends on how you look at it. If a resin ball goes longer, it tends to conserve more of its energy and more of its flare for the rear half of the lane. Normally when it does that, the backend tends to lose power slower and can be more continuous. Taking into account all the normal human factors plus drilling and surface and where the bowler is playing on the oil pattern and how his release allows him to use this ball.
I read the blurb on the web page for this ball, the 505C2 and what they say made sense, in describing what their goal was. How well they achieved it will be seen in sales and people's comments. It seems pretty logical to me, given some of the strange descriptions we have seen for many balls from other manufacturers.
