i want one so i hope its going to be sold here lol

Seeing towards the middle of the page it says born in Kentucky USA (Ebonite factory), I would assume this is the first ball to come out, would only guess it is for here (why would they release an international ball first). Check the price, 44,100, thats a heck of a markup
(I know its not american).

Too bad I can't read the rest of the page.
You can view other balls by clicking on "Bowling balls" (somewhere at the top of the center screen) and select a ball make. Or, from the Phoenix New-Brid page, scroll over "curve movie," the next menu, and then click on a year. It will bring up that year's releases (in the symbols). Then if you look in the bottom, left-hand corner of your browser, it will tell you in the hyperlink, as you scroll over it, what ball to view. It'll say something like absbowling.com/products/balls/"ball name"/index.html. You'll find your way around.

-Scoot- I've checked three different Currency Calculators and all of them show that 44100 Yen = $360 - $362..

Actually, it's 360.928115 as of June 1st!
I originally thought maybe somebody misspelled the name and it was supposed to be Phoenix New BIRD. That would make a lot more sense to me!

Regardless of the damn currency, no one in their right mind would even think of buying a ball for any of those prices.

why would a site called american bowling service be in japanesse?
--------------------
legends/lane masters.....what more do you need?

The price of the ball is what the Japanese would pay for it retail. Japan's prices for goods and services are a lot higher than ours. Does anyone know of someone who has been there? I do. I would think that someone would have to pay the shipping cost from the USA to Japan.

That's the price we outside the USA have to pay for bowlingballs..
From about $350 - $410 for "high performance balls"..

Since I live in Iceland I am used to paying around 400 for each ball with drilling and inserts, no wonder I only have 15 balls in my basement
-
I guess that is the general consensus overseas. In that case, it's understandable.
