I'll chime in, though its not exactly the response you may want-- I don't know a whole lot about the LX16 yet (haven't really kept up with the "new" Track letter/number system); however, I can tell you that the 811 c/t is probably one of the best balls that Track has released with their old name/designations.

The 811 c/t (depending on drill, and specific bowler stats) is a medium-heavy oil pattern killer. Leave it with a matte finish, and experience a strong mid-lane reaction with an even stronger backend "arc" type reaction. Polish (or take surface up in grit) and the ball becomes even more playable on patterns that have broken down already, and have thus created carry down. The 811 c/t can fill a number of needs for the tournament bowler looking for a larger hook potential out of their arsenal selection; match the core and cover up with your game, and enjoy. I haven't met a person yet (out of about 10) that doesn't like this specific ball.

I own a 503t (and had a 920t) and the 811 c/t is stronger overall, and handles a good bit more oil up front. Its tough to get this ball to "squirt" through the break point.

Hope this helps clarify some info (real world experience) on the 811 c/t. Good luck on your search for more information!
