Interesting. I have thrown and do throw a pin-up 718A, and a pin down 718A. I was really surprised that the pin down ball moved more than the pin up piece. Now you say the 716C can out hook the 718A??? This I would have to see! I guess it's all about who the controller is, surface prep, and lane conditions. The guy I've seen throw the 716C has a rev rate around 375(guesstimate). His balls are very smooth and controlled, and not very violent. We were throwing on medium oil, btw.
This has me very curious.
P.S. I understand, that. by the numbers, what you say ought to be true. I am basing my argument on what I have observed. Maybe when we put the two balls in a medium-hvy environment, we could get a true reading of their overall strengths, and likenesses.
