Now that Del is gone...
« on: October 11, 2006, 04:44:46 AM »
What is expected from Track?  I came into bowling during the most recent Del era and I was impressed with everything he put out.  Hammer and Track reside in my bag right now but was thinking of going full on Track due to Del's impressive pieces.

Now that he's out, what's to expect from Track?

Personnally I think if Phil Cardinale and Chip Kempke get involved things will be fine.  I am also wondering what the plan is.

I am. Effective Monday I will be once again spearing heading the TRACK ATTACK. Just now getting my feet wet and working on a new core technology as well as a cover formualtion to match up.

So what's the future of DT in all this?  Will they merge?  I could see some really neat stuff by wrapping Track's well-proven asymmetric cores with Soaker covers.  I threw Track before coming to DT and it was a toss-up which one I liked more.

I doubt Phil would allow what happenned to Track happen again.  I think he is too smart for that.  He has never been a fan of releasing too many balls all at once.  I had a feeling this is what was happening. It makes perfect sense.

Wow, I'd love to know if DT and Track will become "mix and match" as well.  Track core, DT cover?  I'm there.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Selliger of the Southern Cal bowling league. I just got a report that a member of your team, Walter Solcheck, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true, it controveens a number of league bylaws.

This is not a personal attack on Phil but it seems that the bowling industry is one big revolving door.  Where is all the new blood that can give ideas about bowling nowadays.  This is not directed at one company, but man it would be nice to see some new blood with new ideas.  We need something new as bowling has been on the decline for a long time with all these people who are still involved and just keep changing chairs (or companies).

I still wish you luck Phil, just wanted to throw a different perspective out there.

Yes.  Regulars of the DT forum know "the guys".  Phil is newguy, Billy Yinger is "other guy".

and those are two excellent guys!!!!

many times customer's have told me how they would write or call DT,  and always get a good response from one of them.

however, i have always heard nothing but good things about del.  and dawn and the rest of the staff at customer service were always rated a 10.

Wow, didn't see this one coming. I threw an Anomaly and Thing Returns a few years back and loved them, I just loved Track's asyms a little more. Welcome aboard, Phil. Not sure what is going on with all this and I'll see Del next weekend at Clint's, but I hope everything works out for everyone. I decided to throw nothing but Track a while back and I'm sticking to it, so hopefully you'll keep everything rolling!!

Will this http://www.trackbowling.com/legion/index.cfm?tlid=5 be gone Monday  too? Track does not seem to be in a hurry to remove it. I hope Track does well and has continued success. I think you should fire your website manager and hire someone more responsible.
