Old Tracks NIB - Keep or Sell?
« on: October 21, 2013, 09:46:00 PM »
A bowler at my center said he has three old Track balls and was wondering if he should just drill them up or try to sell them.  One of them was a 15# Track Machine.  The other two he was not sure of but they were from the same time period and he was going to look inside the boxes and let me know later what they are.  So, what would a Track Machine be worth?

About $100 plus shipping on ebay. Power machine would get more. Saw some on there not to long ago.

It all depends on who sees them. Sold my NIB 15lb Senor Excel earlier this year for $158 plus shipping. Bought it off ebay 3 months early for $75 shipped. Timing is everything.

I loved my Machine. If he drilled it, he probably would too.

I've got a new 15lb Freak-a-zoid I would sell for a fair price.

I am going see what else he has undrilled and will recommend that he try the Machine.  He likes the old Visionary Warlock DC (purple pearl) that he has.  He came back to town after six months (snowbird) and found two of his drilled bowling balls had cracked so he has been using the DC and is wanting to drill up something newer to try but doesn't want to drill up something that may be worth more to someone else.

IF and when I find out what his other two undrilled balls are, I will post back.

I heard back from him and the other two balls that he has are the Equation and Arsenal Artillery.  What would those two be worth?

About the same. I have a NIB 15LB Equation sitting in the closet I'm undecided on. There's been an Equation 2 nib on ebay for awhile that's never sold at $129ish

I had an Equation, and a Mean Machine.  Both were good pieces for me from what I can remember. Back then I played a nice 15-16 mph 2nd arrow mix between a swing and down and in shot.  I think I played the mean machine over 3rd.
