End weight 13lbs 13 ounces 4.25x4 mb, pin 3.5 above mid line and sits over ring. Weight hole 1 1/8 bit 3 1/8 deep, 6 inches over and 1/2 inch down. Statics 3/4 pos side, 1/8 thumb, 3/4 top. Exact same layout as my Rule and very close to the Xception. Cover was OOB, no adjustment.
If you read my POA tourney 2nd week recap about having OB outside 10, I had the same shot on this pair again. Low end of the house has the same characteristic, 2nd week on 11-12, this past Wed on 9-10. Bowled against #2 bowler of the league (229 avg), he couldn't hook (throwing Inferno). Nobody could...but me! Drilled it just in time to get to league.
Lined up 25 hitting about 11 to 7, pretty tight still but the GP2 was able to turn over and finish strong where I couldn't budge just 2 weeks ago with the Rule. The GP2 gave me decent length started reading sooner than my Rule and turned over very well on the backend. Comparatively to my Rule, the reaction ratio is very similar to what Mitch described. It reads the mids about 6-8 feet sooner and continues with a very strong arcing motion on the backend. Somewhat like my Animal but stronger backend, just a "little" smoother than the Rule.
Amazingly this ball still revs up with the higher rg rating which usually tend to lope for me. It has to be the Rev Lever design.....I'm still learning too. I'm guessing my 14 is even higher than 2.57, didn't ask. It also reads the oil very well. The cover is strong enough to handle this number without a doubt for those of you who might have questions about that. My Animal sanded (400) will read the lane sooner but definitely has less backend reaction compared to the GP2.
In summary, I personally feel this is another great addition for those who are a little rev or strong roll challenged (like me) and fit the mold of the avg tweener, this is a great fit. It really helps you get down the lane and eats through what's there with energy still for the pins. It sits for me about 4-5 boards stronger than my Rule and for those of you who know me, I like getting a certain amount of separation in equipment so we don't end up carrying 18 balls around all the time.
FWIW, I shot 247 and 224 first 2 games fresh out of box before having to put it up because of the breakdown. Another job well done Track, great cover and core match up.

Update 1/5/05
Got a chance to throw some more last nite comparing the GP2, Rule and Xception at the bowl where my shop is. 38ft buffed to 42, much longer and pretty heavy in the centers compared to my previous Rule/Animal vids, 5-10 drier but complete dry like before, still lite hang past 5.
Xception - lined up at about 25-26 hitting almost 10 to 6, pretty direct to get the ball up to the hole. A little too much oil to use this ball to try and open up the shot.
Rule - lined up at 30 hitting about 13 to 6-7 and the ball didn't turn over until the backend. Right side of the lane isn't quite as dry anymore. It gave me more room than the Xception but if I tugged the line, it rang 10's.
GP2 - Had to move about 5 left, ended up at 35 hitting 13-14 to about 8 to return to the pocket. It actually turned over sooner then the Rule and had a smoother backend reaction. For me, truly more of an arc reaction. If I hit the ball just a little bit stronger, it read the mids even better (I'm in all the oil) and let me play even deeper with good hitting power still. At my ball speed(14-15), this ball and layout gives me the natural length I need to get downlane before it turns over.
Typically, we have our heavy oil balls drilled to roll early to combat the condition and this causes us to play a much tighter line and can't miss a whole lot to the right. This is due to the fact that the ball isn't set up or designed to recover from there, well...this is not the case with the GP2. I still had about 3-4 boards of right room to miss off of AND be able to eat thru the center if I tugged. With the dual load particle (one big and one small), this ball picks up really well in oil. Don't let the rg rating fool you, this ball reads a lot stronger then you'd think. Very impressive.....
