peak particle in the future?
« on: November 04, 2005, 04:29:58 PM »
Do you guys think we will see the peak particle covers in the near future on some new cores?  I really feel the arsenal angular; more then the aggressive, doesn't get much consideration.  This ball is really versatile.  The peak particle cover is fantastic.  The angular not only hits hard but backends like a reactive.

I think we will see more balls with the Peak Particle cover.

Its still relatively new and has only been used on two balls so I definitely see Track releasing more balls with this cover. Now the question is, what core(s) do they put it on??

chitown,

I have no information on what Track will use in the future.......HOWEVER the Peak Particle cover is too good to not use it again.

Guys,

If I remember correctly.  Peak Particle has been around for a number of years...just not called that.  Del used it on some AMF balls back in the day, including quite possibly one of the Nighthawks.  He and I spent some time talking coverstocks at one of the trade shows this summer.  He just hadn't made use of the coverstock material much....You're right..it matches up to todays conditions very good.
