Arsenal Reactive review
« on: November 04, 2005, 03:21:37 PM »
Alright im a stroker with decent speed. the lanes were like med-light (not what its made for but i wanted to practice my release). i usualy stand with my left foot on the 15 board but with this ball i had to move my left foot to the 35. it was an absolute monster! i had to keep it in the oil or else it would over curve into the 4. my average is like 165 (iv been bowling for little over a year, lots of people are better than this at this point but im not), my games with this ball were 174 168 and 200! if you want to see how the ball is drilled here it is

all you track freeks out there, tell me what my next ball should be. id like a good control ball and i was thinking of an xception 5.0 or a solution.

For control I really like my Freak A Zoid. Track dosent really have a dedicated control ball but, a Freak A Zoid, Arsenal Aggressive, and maybe a Slash will do it for ya. The Arsenal Aggressive really likes oil also so, you probally will want a different flavor. I recomend the Freak A Zoid personally.

For control, you definately want a Slash or Solution PP. Both of those will handle less oil than the Arsenal Reactive. Of course when drilling, drill them accordingly and prep the cover if necessary.

Sounds good Caleb and welcome to the Revolution.  Great choice in the Arsenal Reactive, it is a very nice ball.  For a ball under the Reactive, the FAZ would be a good choice for a little more controlled reaction.

I personally have a Solution Power Plus (3x2.5cg) coated with Clean and Sheen for that type of reaction.  With this pattern, I get a little earlier revving reaction with a very smooth and continuous look throughout the lane.  Going to Vegas for a tourney this weekend but I'll hopefully have some vids of this ball when I get back...

Caleb,

Definately the Solution PowerPlus!

The Xception 5.0 tends to be too angular to use as a control ball.

Don't recommend anything particle to Caleb, because he has a personal vendetta against them .

Slash or the Solution PP as mentioned above. Same core shape, just different densities on the Solution PP to make it flare a touch less. Slightly different cover as well.
