i have had my unleashed for about 2 weeks aprox. 15 games. i keep it the same way i got it out of box, some cleaner ( rev-it). i have not been to happy with the reaction, the ball is a 16# 0oz top weight 2 3/4 pin 2 inches. it does not seem to react at the back end like i want it too. should i shine it or scuff it? or just keep throwing it?

it would help to know how it's drilled and how you pitch it. It's designed to go long so the issue is whether it's the correct ball for the conditions you are playing on
-
I would be interested to know the layout the ball has on it, and the reaction you told the driller you would like to get.
My suggestion without knowing would be to sand the ball down to 400 grit wet sand, then polish it up to about 1000-1200 grit.

Carl, Rick......Remember when I was having my problems with the Unleashed and you guys helped me find a solution? I found a better reaction in the oil when i changed from using sandpaper to scotch brite pads....it doesnt cloge the pours and it can actually grab like i want it to.
I have now changed my views on using sandpaper on particle balls, but this was the first particle ball i've used scotch brite pads on, so who knows....
just some FYI

it doesn't take an average to win in match play!
-
Mr Track......I guess I should have specified 400 grit wet sand with a burgandy scotch brite pad.
I am slacking**L**
-
no worries...
Im new to scotch brite pads, cause i never really likes them before...so im still trying to find out what pad equals what wet sand grit

this is the basics.....
white=1500
light grey=800
green(found in any grociery store=600 grit
burgandy=400
hope this helps
