Assassin
« on: October 05, 2003, 05:28:38 AM »
One of our top bowlers and a multi regional champ has been struggling a little lately.

All of a sudden he got an Assassin as one of the hot hands at the house had been using the same one there for 4 years.  All of a sudden he's got area even during carrydown.

He says, "I can move inside of everybody!"

Another hot hand in the house lefty with very little hand used a Battle Zone Bullet and an Assassin to shot about 735 against us the same week.

Is this ball discontinued?  One wouldn't know it at this house!

The Assassin is close to the Enforcer, it uses the same core and cover.  The Assassin's cover is polished but the Enforcer's is sheen, more of a duller cover.

I bet if you polish the Enforcer you will have almost an Assassin.

If you can get your hands on either go for the gusto...I'm shooting the lights out with the Enforcer...some of my best series and games yet.

In my opinion those two are a pair of the HARDEST hitting balls ever made.

I never threw the Enforcer but my assassin is probably the hardest hitting ball i ever owned.

And for how old and how many games it has on it, it still has a ton of pop to it.

Yes I truly like my Enforcer, I even bought four more of them.  I may polish a strong drilled ball so it acts like the Assassin.  I'll agree with you Nizzo, those two balls kill the pocket/pins everytime.

Look around, you may still be able to find one or two.  I managed to get one NIB Enforcer from this site, and three used ones.

The good thing about the used ones is sometimes the weight taken out from the first drill may keep it legal after the second drill.  I have a few used balls that don't require weight holes.

Plus my Enforcer is used and I hate to see how a NIB would hit.

I see the Money also looks like the same ball, slightly different cover.

Rave reviews from some!
