I'm dying to here some info on this ball!! Anyone know the release date yet? I think it was said by Phil in another thread but i forget what he said.. any info or release date yet!?!

My driller informed me they are getting a few in this week so the release is usually within 2 weeks of this time. I might get this and big shot later this week i am getting a big shot 100 percent not positive on this ball though.

Big Shot is really nothing. Johnny League Bowler was throwing it during his match playing BrunsNick... Nothing too spectacular.

"Out of the Ashes comes the “Phoenix™” from Track.  This ball has been developed from a computer generated program which uses basic physics and geometric principles.  Those principles along with the data that we received from field tests insure the compatibility of this ball for a variety of bowlers on a variety of lane conditions.  The Phoenix introduces both a new core – Ascentâ„¢ and a new cover – DSRâ„¢ (Dura Soak Resin).  The Phoenix also features the new TCSâ„¢ 4000 finish which is the most “tunable” finish on the market today.  This ball features an Rg of 2.45 and differential of 0.050."

Well i have a standing order for both so we see how different they are as soon as they show up, i hear the big shot is longer and stronger on the back than the attack.

I'm just trying to find out the specs on this ball.  I want to get it, but without knowing what the RG, Diff, and if it's symmetrical or asymmetrical, I'm waiting.  I could call Track but I would have thought this would have been included in the information I received.

Wrong....I threw the Apogee and the Action Attack in the first match and the Action Attack in the second.

I am expecting my Big Shot this week or next.

So, newguy, are you finally spreading Dyno-Thane's Soaker technology to other Columbia brand product lines?
