RULE AND XCEPTION
« on: November 10, 2004, 01:11:52 PM »
I STILL CANT PICK ONE. SO I THINK I MIGHT JUST CAVE AND GET BOTH. IS THIS A GOOD IDEA. I BOWL MANY DIFFERENT MED. AND HEAVY OIL PATTERNS. IT WILL COST ALOT!, SO IF ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA PLEASE TELL ME SO I CAN SAVE SOME MONEY.
THANKS

I'd suggest going with a Rule.  If it's too much ball, you can always polish it up with some Magic Shine.  It's an awesome ball for med/heavy to heavy oil conditions.  It might be a little too much for medium oil patterns, but you can always move deeper or lightly polish the ball.

Another option is to get the Rule and if you're unhappy and/or need more length, you can always get the Xception after.

I'm sure both balls complement each other very well, however, getting both at once because of an impulsive and undecided point of view seems to be a waste of money.

Hope this helps!

Save the money and buy one ball, using the money you would have used to buy the other ball to get lessons.

monstercrank I agree with icetink on this subject....

Get the Rule first, if you like it dull and to cover the heavy stuff you can get an X ception if you feel you need one then. Getting both because they both catch your eye (ie impulse move) could end up being something you regret.

I will be drilling my X ception tomorrow and if I can get a few games on it I will post a mini review.

Hey monster,

If you can afford only one, I'd also go with the Rule.  I always recommend to have more strength (which can be tamed down) vs not having enough.  Good luck..
