Got mine today and punched it up:

PIN 4 1/4 from PAP 3 1/4 above midline...MB 4 3/4 from PAP

Guys/gals, this ball is awesome.....it seems to offer up a mix between the reaction of the Mean Machine and the Equation. And this hit......the title of the strongest hitting Track ball "EVER" goes to this ball now.

Based on the vids I saw of the Strike and after throwing my Power tonite, I'd have to respectfully disagree. The Strike looked pretty strong off the dry but having Nano on the cover is a big difference compared to the reactive cover of Vector.

The Power Machine literally makes a left turn like the old phrase (somebody kicked it left) is exactly what I get out of this ball. Very clean and extremely powerful off the break.

Hey Gary,

It depends on the oil concentration or density that the bowler encounters. On 2-3 separate occasions now (on a fresh shot), I've hit houses that did not have a heavy density of oil which actually made my Mean Machine roll fairly early and even. Pulled out my Equation and it opened up the backend.

Nano is composed of much larger pores compared to standard reactives so at times it actually rolls or can react like a particle for me (as mentioned in my review). Seeing as how the Strike has Nano, I'm just trying to cover all bases as individuals may see this reaction as well.

If your puddle in the center or your density of oil is thick enough with good friction to the right, then both balls may then have similar reactions.

This also helps explain why you'll see some feedback about the Strike as a hook monster to just a strong arc on the backend (assuming layouts are the same). From just throwing the Power yesterday, it was able to skid much easier thru the fronts like a standard reactive and turn over extremely hard. Hope this helps explain some...

the surface is 3000 grit under the polish

basically it is sanding a ball to 3000 then adding polish.

good length, great midlane, good backend movement. Very strong rolling ball, see it as an artillery on roids, with added pop on the backend.
