Title: PP EX...will this be a good fit for me?
Post by: splendorlex on June 16, 2006, 05:26:37 AM
Right now I carry a Big One for the heavier stuff, and a Doom for everything else.  (I use the Doom about 95% of the time, if not more.)  By the third game or on shorter/sport patterns, I find the Doom to be a little bit too much to control.  Will the Powerplus EX be a good fit there?  I've never thrown a Track ball, but I might be able to get one from Ike for a good price.  Thoughts on this ball?

the Solution is an awesome ball. the way mine's drilled (see pic in profile) it goes very smooth down the lane but still has a backend to it. if you have anymore questions ask

Great late game shift ball for me. I find it handles inside lines very well, just enough push through the heads and a great move at the back. Works well for me in regular house shots as well as tougher tournament/ sport shots that I see.

It's a good fit below the Doom. It's a good light to medium condition bowling ball. Hits like all Tracks do...hard! Carries well. And you can get them for a good price right now. I'd say go for it. I don't think you'll regret it.

The Solution EX should be a very nice fit for you.  It's very clean on the drier shots for me as well with good pop on the backends.  If you need any additional length for your particualr condition, you can just simply polish it some.  Hope this helps...

I'm just wondering if this ball is stronger than advertised.  I'm looking for something for drier conditions, but I'm rarely on a desert.  I also want something to control the screaming backends on my sport shot.  Any other thoughts on this ball?

In my opinion yes it will be a good fit. For dry lanes, Track has the Desert Heat. The solution pp ex is above that, yet below medium condition balls like the Doom.

Thanks, Chuck.  That is what I'm kind of wondering, because I know with the Doom, for instance, it's a much stronger ball than what I expected.  It's rated for medium to light, but I would classify it up a category at least.
