New to Track, ball selection help?

I used to be a big fan of Storm prior to the Rad-3 cores coming out. I've tried a variety of companies since and haven't found anything as good as the older Storm balls. My last two purchases were the Switch Blade and Ultimate Inferno but they just don't match up to my game very well. I would like to give Track a try.
The league I bowl in is on Synthetic lanes and they usually don't put very much oil down. I prefer to play a line similar to Mike Edwards but can open it up if necessary. I've been relying on my old RG Sonic X as of late for league and playing a very direct line, much more so than usual. Standing on the 17 and rolling it to the 10th board.
I also bowl regularly on wood lanes where oil tends to vary from week to week. I would like a ball I can control, where I can play deep on drier conditions and go straighter on the wetter shots. I was thinking of the Freak-a-zoid. Would anyone have any other suggestions?

Crunch Time is great for med oil. I play a similar line to ME as well and have great success with mine.
The core is very versatile, meaning it works for various styles of players, and is very easy to control.
Cheap too
I know when I go bowl at my house and they haven't oiled, that's the ball I pull out first. Bowled a 243 with my CT Sunday just farting around.

I have Crunch Time and FAZ drilled 5x5 no balance hole.
these balls are easy to control, very smooth in the midlane and nice backend.

I'll second what the other guys are saying. I have a Crunch Time too and it's an excellent ball.

I agree with the above...Freakazoid or Crunchtime. One more you can throw in there is the Sheer Havoc. You cannot go wrong with any of the three.
If the lane conditions are dry enough for you to use the Sonic X, expect to be able to open up the right side a bit more with either of the above listed balls.

Thanks for everyone's help. I'll be hitting my pro shop sometime this week to make the final decision as to whether I'll be getting the FAZ or the Crunch Time. I'm also planning on getting a Ravage as well. There's gotta be one ball company out there that works as well as Storm did.

I agree that the Crunch Time and Freakazoid are great balls and you could not go wrong with either but both are much stronger than the Sonic X. I have thrown the sonic X and all of the Track balls and the only one that compares is the Dry Heat. The Dry Heat will get through the front part of the lane like the Sonic X but will have more backend and more hit. With the Dry Heat I stood about four boards further left with my feet and two with my target than the Sonic X struck a lot more. I like the sonic X but the Dry heat is a little more versatile and hits more like a big ball because of the tamed down Heat core.

Hey Law,
FWIW, another vote on the FAZ and CT. Since you don't see a whole lot of oil, these are your better choices.
