Projected Arsenal
« on: August 01, 2007, 11:18:16 AM »
I really like the look of the new Kinetic and Temper. I was thinking about getting both balls but they both seem to be skid/flip pieces with the Kinetic being a little stronger. Do you guys think the Kinetic and Temper will compliment each other?

from what Carl has stated they will complement each other nicely, the Kinetic will be stronger and also handle more oil than the temper, he also said the temper is more of a benchmark ball than skid/flip

So the Temper (Phoenix) could compare to the Equation?
And would the Kinetic compare to a Black Widow (solid)?

Check out www.absbowling.co.jp, there are the balls already on display with comparison charts if I remember right, and sure videos are to come. Might help you with your decision.

Temper is nothing close to a Phoenix.

I was told the Temper was just a redesigned, perfected version of the Phoenix because the Phoenix didn't pass Ebonite's specifications as a high-performance ball.

They might have been going for the same reaction and arc shape but they aren't the same ball.  I hear ebonite can't do multi-piece cores.  Maybe just rumor.  The Pheonix's core was a modified Robo Core.  Temper's looks like kinda like something from Hammer.

the Phoenix had a brand new core in it, didnt look anything like the robo core to me, i wouldnt mind seeing the Ascent core from the Phoenix in some other balls, but guess that wont happen now
