How to get the OOB surface for the Freak-A-Zoid

Does anybody know what grit the compound is and how I can get close to the OOB surface?

I think Bartender is very close. I would give that try. DO NOT be too excessive with the compound though.

Hey sTaurinn,

I also think Bartender's suggestion is fine but if memory serves me correctly, I used to do 600, Clean and Dull and then Clean and Sheen.  Hope this helps...

Thanx for your reply´s.
The Problem is that I dont have Cleen and Sheen and since I live in Iceland I may excpect 6-8 weeks for delivery, which is too late for me.

On the other hand I have Clean and Dull, Clean and Smooth, almost all grits available of bowling polishes and compounds, all avialable Grit numbers of Abralon, Scotch Brite and in addition an access to a Donkey spinner.

So all this being said, do you have any other options for me.

I think if you use Clean n Smooth.....and apply good pressure you will get close to the OOB finish as well. Give that a try.

I found that sanding with the grey scotchbrite then applying storm step 3 polish gives an almost identical obb reaction.
