I think I trust the Track guys the most...that being said, is DynoThane, Centrifigal Mass any good? Has anyone heard negative or positive?
-
Not many Track-a-natics are likely to have tried a CM. I'd stick with the DT forum; they're a good bunch of guys and well informed about the balls they like.

I have a 16lb GP2 and want something to go down the lane further. I don't know if I'm sold on the Delta2.
Are you saying that none of the track guys even "try" another brand?

I echo Charlest's comments; the Dyno guys on this website are very good, especially since one of them is Phil Cardinale, the owner, himself!
However, I will say that I have a friend that is on staff with Dynothane, and the Centrifugal Mass seems to give him a more angular breakpoint than almost all of his other Dynothane equipment, and the ball carries nearly as well as his favorite Dynothane offering, the original (Burgandy) Energy. Obviously, the angular breakpoint has a lot to do with the way he drilled the ball.
The Centrifugal Mass, being a dull solid/pearl combo, would likely require polishing and perhaps a weaker drilling to give you a ball for medium conditions. I would suggest going with an Energy if you're looking for the second ball in a two-ball arsenal.
HOWEVER...if you'd like to try another Track ball...there are several to choose from that would fit what you're looking for. I'd take a long look at some of the balls that Track has come out with in the last year, especially the Xception and the Xception 5.0. They would give you added length and strong backends when your GP2 is hooking too early, with the 5.0 being an earlier-hooking ball than the regular Xception.
You might want to take a look at the Arsenal Angular as well, as that would give you good length through broken-down heads with a strong move at the breakpoint.
Whichever company you choose...good luck with your bowling! Be sure to let us know if there's anything we can do to help you!

Anybody notice that the centrifugal mass core looks similar to the morpheous?? mnn, could it be a knock off..mnnn.

Just get another GP2 and polish it if you really like your GP2. I use a polisded one and a dull one!

Hey, it might be slop but, it all looks the same on the scorecard!!!!!

I thought of that possibility, BUT knowing something about Mr. Cardanale, I know that could never be. He is just not that sort of person; far too proud and too knowledgable.
