Hi everyone. Currently, I throw Storm and Roto for my arsenal. However, the pro shop I go to has a reconditioned 715T that is available for a decent price. After asking about it, my driller was thinking that it would fit between my Nano and Anarchy (compliment the Anarchy more) and give me a different ball motion than what I currently have with my arsenal.
With that said, I have been thinking of picking up my first Track ball. For those who have the 715T, what have you liked or disliked? Also, what would be some of the best conditions to throw it on?

Medium-Heavy Oil: Storm Anarchy: 1500 polished

The 715T definitely handles a bunch of oil. So use it on medium to heavy oil. I agree with your driller it will fit in between the Nano and Anarchy. The difference, is you will see a smoother more predictable reaction with the 715T as oppose to the other two. I think it is a great piece, and you won't be disappointed when using it. The only problem I had with it, was finding enough oil for it to be used for. But if you can throw your nano, then I see no problem with you throwing the 715T. Hope this helps. Best track ball I have - when there is oil
mine has a 4.5" pin and its under my fingers slightly, great ball for some medium length sport patterns and longer.
I find it takes to surface changes very well.
Very predictable motion

Ragnar- I throw about the same, around 19-22mph as it has been clocked multiple times on the lane radar gun.

To answer your question, I throw it about 16-17 mph. Have about 300 revs.

I have never understood when bowlers put down ball speed that they do not state at the camera in the backend and what type of system or in the heads which is how CATS does it and the speeds you see posted on TV shows/PBA are measured. Big difference between the two.
For those that say backend/camera throw a spare ball straight and then throw your strike line/hook. There should be a large discrepancy in ball speed if so which one do you state?

somewhat rev-dominant.
i have a bunch of track equipment and the 715t and 505t are my fav by far depending on the pattern that im on
like I said, I have had the 715t polished and down to 2000ab and it has worked well on both conditions with the related surface.
Now - i am looking for a controlled breakpoint and predictable backend which is what i have with this layout
I can not use this at my THS due to high friction wood lanes
