With your high rev rate, and with the Rising having worked well up to this point at its stock surface (4000 grit Abralon), why do you assume this one night will be typical of all future Shark-type patterns?
I'd this was extremely atypical.
For most of with a human-type rev rate (
), the Rising at 4000 Abralon is a medium oil ball. We need to take it to 1000 grit or so for heavier oil.
If you're worried about seeing such heavy oil again, why not get a 2nd ball, maybe a used one (if money is a problem) and keep it at 1000 grit just for emergencies, such as last night? Otherwise, it makes no sense to panic because of one unusual experience.
I'd keep things as you originally stated:
Rising, Uprising when the midlane gets too dry for the Rising, and KE for control or when you need to go straighter, for the same oil, roughly.
