Question for Mr Track
« on: November 14, 2003, 05:03:00 AM »
In two different post you stated that the Phenom Unleashed was a unique ball.  Could/would you please let us know how this ball is unique as compared to other bowling balls?  What makes this ball read the lane differently and carry the pins differently to qualify this ball as unique?

I know that this ball is unique in the sense that no other ball on the market has as much length+powerful backend, WITH surface.  Also, with the unique morpheus core.  I have thrown/owned many balls(particularly Ebonite/Hammer, Storm, AMF and some columbia) and yet, with my fav. drilling on each of the balls i've thrown, I have not seem such an amazing combination.  PLUS, out of all that equipment, I have never seen such an amazing hit.  Closest hit to this would be my Mutant(as Excaliber stated).

Track is definitly releasing amazing products as the months go by.  By making their morpheus core's and not actually replicating this ball from any other ball on the market, I would have to stand by my word in saying that this ball it "truely unique"

Thanks for the spot light, but no thanks

I tend to agree with Mr Track for the very same reasons. Length, and backend with a dull surface. You do not get that everyday. And the HIT is awesome.

I guess seeing is believing and I haven't thrown it yet, but regardless, unless we have a tremendous breakthrough like rubber to plastic, plastic to urethane. urethane to reactive etc or the major difference in core, this ball is not unique.  I might have to take that back, bowling balls can be unique, but unfortunately they are uniquely the same.  No not every ball is the same, but you can find another ball to do the same thing in most other bowling ball manufactuers.

I do like Track cores, I only wish they used a Storm or Ebonite coverstock.

I did respond on the other post.

No coverstock is as bad as Columbia IMHO.  Maybe they should use Visionary.
