Hex equivalent?

Among the current and recent Track balls availble for purchase, which one(s) is(are) closest in ball reaction to the original "The Hex"?

In case your answer is The CrunchTime, I've been playing with one for a while now, adjusting coverstock in many diferent ways and re-drilling. They are not alike. CT is too early; when it so much as sniffs dry, it's gone. My thrice drilled Hex is much more even. Both are good pin "movers".

PS would be willing to pay a good price for a 16 lb Hex with a 3" pin and reasonable top weight. can't find one.

The closest that I can think of is the Solution PP EX. Pretty much the same core.

I had a Hex, and they are VERY VERY close. Much closer in reaction than the CT is to the Hex.

Hmmm...my Hex was early and smooth but based on your comments of the CT being too early, I'd also have to agree with a Solution EX then.

My Hex was fairly smooth in box surface. I added a smal amount of Delayed Reaction which added a bit of shine plus that "Slip agent". All of a sudden instead of looking like a particle pearl, it acted like a highly polished resin pearl. Bizarre. Oddly, although it handled medium-light now instead of medium (or heavier) AND the ball path became more hockey stick shaped, hitting power remained the same - impressive.
