Animal or not to animal
« on: March 14, 2004, 12:02:01 PM »
I have a Hammer Blade Particle it will do nothing but go straight.  I'll shoot straight down 8th board then I might hit the pocket.  The ball is drilled pin on top of the bridge with 1/2 once side weight.  I don't really rev the ball a whole lot and I don't know what RPM I have either.  I know I have about 5-6 oil rings coming back from my ball.  I want to have a ball with a better finish or backend.  Can Track Animal provide the hit I needed?  I like both Hammer balls and Track balls.  Please sugget a good new ball for me.  Thanks.

Animal could be the answer, but would´ent be a sure thing.
Go with Phenom og Phenom Unleashed drilled with pin under
bridge and cg kicked out an inch (with a hole on PAP).
If your lanes have good oil and clean backends and this is´ent working for you nothing properbly will.

Maybe others have a different view on it?!?
But that is my two cents

Hi Shao,

I would recommend the Animal but dull it to about 600-800 for your heavy oil condition.  You can always bring it back if it's too much but from what I've seen with mine, it rolls thru the thicker oils pretty well.  The pattern I'd suggest would be something like a pin under your fingers and place the mass bias in your VAL or even past it for sooner roll.  It would help tremendously if you knew more of your personal information so I could be a little more precise with the layout.  Please check to see if you can get the information and post it so I can get a better feel of how you throw the ball, thanks.

Is there anyway you guys can help me gather the information myself?  I can take a picture of my old ball and send it to anyone who would willing to help, or I can try to measure it myself if I can find more information from the web or some experts here in the forum.
