Drilling a second Artillery
« on: August 05, 2006, 06:30:12 AM »

I'm looking to add to my arsenal and wondering how a second Artillery would fit, my first is drilled pin under ring cg 45deg out, what could I expect if I drilled a second one with the pin over ring/bridge and cg out,I really like this ball but I think I'm losing some backend pop with my current ball due to lanes being oiled slightly on the light side of medium and the ball may be burning up a little. Thanks for any replies.

I think that you would need it at least over bridge maybe even biased toward your middle finger to see much difference if you plan on keeping the same suface on it.
I am basing this on what you state in your profile. Being a stroker with med revs you won't see as big a difference between drills as a power player would.
Just my opinion though.

Pretty much as the others said....a few feet further down the lane and a harder move at the break...

Thanks guys, this is what I thought but wanted conformation from the experts on here.BTW can anyone tell me the surface finish on the Artillery, all I can get is it's compound polished, what grit is it at OOB,then I'll have a start point if I want to change it on my second ball.
