715T Mini Review
« on: September 19, 2010, 11:00:50 PM »
I drilled one of my 715T's this weekend and used it last night in a THS mixed league.
The Layout:  40 x 4.5" x 45 layout Hole on PAP. Shined with factory Finish.

On the fresh THS this ball really shined. The ball cleared the heads without issue and the midlane was impressive with a nice move through the pins downlane. Never quit. The ball is not over snappy when leaked to the dry boards right but does recover nicely and smoothly. The ball seems very comfortable inside the oil line even shiny. I kept the ball around 15 at the arrows and kept it around the track downlane. If I missed right into the drier part it recovered but if i missed right early it was too strong.(obviously poor shots shouldnt strike!)

As the lanes started to transition I made normal moves to stay on top of the pattern and had no issues with the balls reaction.

Game 3 because the approaches are newly recoated the left side of the approach was Extremely slippery so i made a ball change to the 505T drilled the same way and shined also and was able to move back out where I had started with the 715T at the begginning of the night.

Overall the 715T is about 3-5 Boards stronger than the the 505T and about 5 feet earlier.

I think this ball is going get used alot in my hands. I am throwing it again tonight in our scratch league with a 44' pattern so I will report on that as well.
