Animal coverstock adjustment?
« on: February 20, 2004, 07:21:25 AM »
Hey, has anyone tried changing the surface on the ball yet. If so what did you do and how did it change the reaction. Thinking of knocking of the factory finish off mine and dropping it down to 1000 grit. Anybody played with theres yet? Lmk.

Thanks, cooksey

Sorry Cooksey,

Not ignoring any of your posts, just haven't received mine yet to give you a true and honest opinion.  Hopefully within the week, I know Excaliber drilled his Animal but don't know if he's played with the surface yet.

Based on just the info about the Animal, taking it down to a 1000 should smoothen out the look a little bit(grab a little sooner and strong continuous arc vs strong snap).
