Agreed, this is one tremendous piece.
I laid mine out 70x4.5x30 using dual angle layout. Basically, pin is up above ring finger, mass bias just ring of thumb, pin 1.5 inches inside val. Was hoping to use a fairly strong pin distance (4.5) but still get it to respond quick to friction. This ball compliments the Temper perfectly. I practiced on a pair that had one lane hooking about 5 boards more than the other so I got to see what look I would have on fresh and also after they break down. On the fresh, I was able to stay a little up the back of it, got effortless length, read the midlane just right and made a strong controlled move. It didn't want to jerk off the dry when I missed right and didn't want to skid 60 feet if I missed in. Pin carry was the best I have seen with any of the releases.
On the drier lane, I had to chase it a few boards inside the oil line and soften my hand up and go around it a little more but got the same great midlane read. The only problem was getting it right early as it wanted to read a little too quick. As with any ball with a 2.46 rg, you are going to need some oil up front so I was ok with this. Still had insane pin carry from deeper angles.
This will be a great ball for THS and I think this will have a place on lighter volumes in regionals during the transitions games. I feel like I won't be forced deep too quick. The Temper is my go to ball on the fresh but this will be a great ball to go to after they start to carry down and burn up front.
