Tracks ball selector.
« on: April 23, 2004, 11:35:20 PM »
Has any one noticed that the ball selector gives bad advice. Their ball selector selected the animal for the following conditions. High rev bowler, Short oil pattern, and playing a straighter line?

Its feasible I know Amleto Monacelli did this at the Masters and shot 300.

You can use an Animal on short heavy oil, playing straight. If you are a high speed, high rev player. If this is not equating to you then you dont have the speed and revs you think you do.

They also tell you to use the dry heat for long oil patterns?

Again I have seen it that happen with a great local player. 48 ft flat oil played about 30 to 20 and led the tourney. Pin over bridge cg in palm. This guy is very large and is pushing the 500+ rpm count. So it can be done. There are exceptions to the rule but in general I agree the selector may be off to the "average" bowler but to freaks of nature it is possible.

FYI guys,

I have contacted Track about this and the Ball Selector is being reviewed.  I was informed that there may be problems and hopefully it will be corrected soon, thanks.

It shows the dry heat for high revs, long pattern and deep inside line. How does that work.
