Last thursday in the middle of the second game of league my Revmaster comes back to me w/ a crack from the top of the finger holes around to the back of the thumb. About 4" from the fingers had what looked like an impact area from a bolt or screw(I think) it was about 1\3" deep like & looked like it hit on the threaded end of it. The house said that there was nothing they could do because the ball was too old. Should I take them to small claims court?

From the way you put it, they seem to say it was their fault but they couldn't get you a new Revmaster, solely because it's too old. If that's the true situation, tell them you'll accept another Track ball, like a Heat or Solutions Power Plus Ex.

No they wouldn't replace it at all.

Unless you can get some leverage, like the local pro shop or a Track rep or the center's assistant manager saying it was the center's fault, there's likely not a lot you can do. Considering what a used non-premium ball can go for these days, I don't see a lot of alternatives.
If you're interested in a replacement, the Arsenal Angular or a highly polished Slash might be close replacements.

Unfortunately, while the center is probably at fault, there are many variables and we are throwing the balls into pins, off a lane, and into a machine to get it back to us. Many things can happen.
If you need a suggestion for a newer ball/drill, let us know to see if we can help!

Thank you to everyone for giving me help w/ my problem. I'm thinking about buying a depth charge after Rita blows through. Does any other current track ball line have the same core as the Revmaster?

Not that I'm aware of. It was a very unusual and little used core: very low RG and high differential on a mildish to medium coverstock. I think some Columbia balls are using a similar but exact core (I think they call it the Step core.), but even they don't have a very high RG differential.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
I "believe" the only ball with the same core was the EZ money.
The center at the very least should replace the ball with something in the current line.
