Well I just zoomed into the Track booth with the camera's. Couldn't quite read it it was eiter $224.95 or $229.95 for The Rising.

I used a 500 Grit Rising to burn up a spot with my team members and then went to a Kinetic Energy lightly hit with 1000. Did have to use The Rising for the first game of Doubles then went to the Kinetic Energy for the rest of Doubles and then Singles.

I personally had my best look with the Kinetic Energy.  I used the Kinetic late in team.

Used the Rising for all of team event except the first game. The first game was a train wreck. Had a good look with it but carry was a little iffy. I also have my Rising with a weaker layout, I wouldn't have been able to use the pin down layout without a lot of polish on it. Like Guined, the best look I had was the KE in singles and doubles. I had no problem hitting the 1-3, I was in the pocket after game 1 probably 90% but was lucky to carry 60% of those. Left seven pocket splits and a bunch of ring 10s. Speed control was critical due to the higher volume (50 mL).

Thanks for the info. I have been hearing that smoother equipment has been carrying better in team event. Don't know how true it is but my past experience with high entry angle at USBC tournaments is not very good.

I used my rising in team game one way to strong {1000 surface} then switched to a ke and had a better look. singles and doubles used the same ke in singles and doubles. The carry this year is very tuff. You can get to the pocket very easy just hard to carry.I tried a kinetic and that went way to far didn't pick up a roll.

My KE is box finish.  My pin down rising was waaaay to strong.  I have heard people score good inside but my best look came right around the second arrow.  The only time I moved in very far was the last game of team when I switched to the kinetic and started the ball about 16 but only threw it out to 8.  Doubles and singles I started playing straight up 7 with the KE and the deepest I got was 13 with the KE.  In the minors I only threw the KE.  I imagine with a pin up Rising you would probably be able to do the same thing and maybe open the lanes up a little bit more.

Good Luck!

Wow, I had to play 25 out the gate in doubles and was in around 30 by the end of singles. I love playing in there and usually carry really well from there. But, my carry this year was bad from the outside angles in team event as well so who knows.

Sounds like it really depends on what pair you get what day (what else is new). It also sounds like the volume in team event isn't as heavy as most are making is sound. I really expected most would have used a Rising in Team with the aforementioned heavy volume.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I just love to discuss lane play.
