Says something about a series naming video. Is it supposed to be a video explaining in detail about the number series?

WOW!!! after reading all of these replies...i have one of my own!!!IF your a serious bowler(which has been mentioned as the ones that Track is targeting)you ARE NOT going to buy a bowling ball because of it's name or color.maybe if your a beginner or moderate bowler but not one that is serious about the game.that being said who gives a damn about the marketing of the ball...???unless your an investor the only thing about the ball i want to know is will it help take my game to the next level!!!if the 930,715 and the 505 will do just that who cares about the name????now if Track was trying to just sell balls to anyone then your guys have a valid point.but their objective is selling to the serious bowler and therefore they should understand where Track is coming from!!!!

A ball isn't going to take you to the next level.  Practice/experience does.

The names/color/etc, isn't the problem.  Unfortunately, it's what we see on TV that sells.  And that is regardless of the type of bowler.

You may be the better bowler, but my car would blow the doors off of yours.

quote:
You have three seperate designations: TRACTION, ANGULAR, and CONTROL. If it had been me, I would've started three LINES with one under each designation, then used the number system to compare the balls. An example would be ( using the current balls ) The TRACTION 930, The ANGULAR 715, and The CONTROL 505.

Then, as balls were added to each line, you could give them different number designations within each LINE name, I.E. The TRACTION 720, The ANGULAR 525, and The CONTROL 910

I like this. It makes just as much sense as the current system, but isn't as technical sounding. Or having the performance/price category 1st, then reaction shape 2nd: 9-Traction/Angular/Control, etc.

In the end, I just ask my driller what so-and-so ball does anyway, so I could careless about names. But sales-wise, I can understand the points others have made.
