Ok, After two league sessions I have put together a review.
I have never really liked 4000 abralon finish so I took the ball to 2000 before I put holes in it. I mapped it out with a 4.5" pin to PAP, 60° Drill Angle and 70° VAL Angle. This put the pin under my ring finger.
I bowl a double league session on Monday Nights. Regular mixed 5 man team first, then PBA Experience 2nd shift. I was really thinking about using the SE for the PBA Experience league. It was Shark Pattern.tried to use it for the first league but the wet dry of the condition was not condusive to using the SE for the first shift. If I got it in the oil it would really show how strong the Core/Cover combination really is and how fast it will get going. If I got it out to quick and hit the dry it would burn up way to fast. So I put it away. So for second shift I pulled it back out it handle Shark pattern very well. I didn't score super high "620" but the score does not indicate what the ball did. I was very impressed on how consistant it was on the pattern. I missed the pocket two times with bad shots. other than that I left 8 or 9 Rining 10's, 4 stone 7's, an 8 and a 9 plus a flush 4-9 but I picked it up top win the 30 clean pot for $300 plus dollars
plus brackets high game pot and series and came off with about 400 plus for the night.
Overall what I was really pleased with is I could really trust what the ball was going to do for me on this pattern. If I just let the ball do the work it was in the pocket.
So for this week, we would be bowling on Chameleon for the league championship. during the PBA Experience league. So I decided to add factory finish polish to the 2000 abralon finish I had on it. First off I have to say this is one really nice looking ball when it has polish on it.
Last week it was to strong on the league pattern and this week it was going to long. So I put it away again. and saved it for the PBA Experience league. This ball just shined again, shot 682 started of a little slow with a few nine counts then missed a easy 7 count spare
and finished up with a 204 then went 245, 233. I was able to just follow the oil line all night. It was just like last week i just let the ball work for me and I new it was hitting the pocket. We won the league and I pocketed another $350.00 so this ball has made me over $750 bucks in six games of work. I think I like it.
