Rising vs No mercy beatn

The Rising. It will start up alot stronger then the NMB.

Well recovery is rising, but the sharpest breakpoint i think is the NMB but sharp breakpoints are not what u want in heavy oil, that will just skate too long IMO.

I'm not looking for heavy. I'm looking more for a smooth, heavy medium oil ball with good recovery and finish after reading the friction.

Micbowl is looking for a heavy oil ball. I just kinda borrowed the post for the moment. Sorry!

O ok, well the nmb and rising are both good, just that rising might be a bit smoother, but u can polish the rising up to make it more angular. NMB will be longer and more angular but u can take the surface down for a smoother reaction on that ball too.

Your Welcome, just to let you know, the Break will be more angular, but handle a bit less oil.

This would be the Rising also. Only you would want to use the pin above bridge layout. If you use the suggested it will start to soon, and may not give you the entry angle you want. The above bridge layout gives the Rising about 2-3 more feet down lane and about the same recovery, only not as good in the real heavy stuff but for what you want the Rising with the pin above the bridge and the mb at 45 degrees will give you what you want.

to me,  the rising at 4000, will handle the oil better then the NMb at 4000.  in most cases we take the NMb down to 2000 or 1000 for those who feel they need more surface.

but so far, just about all the rising's drilled, have been used at the box finish of 4000.  with great feedback.
