Well, I had a Robo punched up by Clint Daley in trade for some other equipment. I wasn't particularly excited about this ball, although I was curious. I threw it a few frames the other day on a drier shot, it looked good, but didn't stand out from my other equipment.

That all changed today.

I hit a freshly oiled shot today (39 foot pattern) and this thing was AMAZING. I can't believe I overlooked this ball for so long! I wasn't impressed by the GP2 so I just kind of passed on this piece. WOW!! The thing just CRUSHES the pocket. Hits like a truck and carries everything. Shot 279-268-289 consecutively at one point today. Threw it a few more games... I think my low game was somewhere around 220 or so.

It was like taking candy from a baby... Then smacking the baby's mommy IN THE FACE!

Me: "Yeah, well my balls don't BLEED for a week out of every month."

I'm not sexist. I just don't trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesn't die.

Hey clint, sounds like a GREAT ball but, me and Particle dont get along too good. You think a Mean Machine has the same kind of hit and carry the Robo does?

Its the same shape core (different densities make for the difference in numbers) and not being particle, the Mean is longer and sharper than the Robo....I have always been a particle guy sionce they have been introduced...and you will never convince me a resin ball is better than a particle, but the Mean is VERY good and will alwys be in my bag, along side the Equation...that says alot from a guy who usually steers clear of resin....
