Title: Robo Rule and the rev challenged
Post by: jjweb on January 08, 2006, 04:59:01 PM
How does the Robo Rule match up to someone like me? You know, slower speed, low revs?

Speed: 14.5 - 15.5 MPH
PAP: 4 1/2 -- 5/8 up"
Tilt: Around 45 degrees

I 'want' to open this 40' THS with carrydown.

Hey Josh,

I have my Robo-Rule drilled with a 4 1/2" Pin High Above the Ring Finger w/ MB @ 30 degrees and a weight hole 1" past my PAP. My first impressions of this ball was smooth and predictable. My house has since opened up the outsides even more and now it is very hard to keep this ball on the right side. I have never played so deep in my life. Your PAP and Axis Tilt are very different from mine but I consider myself rev-deprived as well. Even though I feel this way, I just couldn't believe how much this ball was hooking for me when I was practicing with it the other day! Hopefully this will help buddy! Let us know! God Bless you and have a great week!

It is very difficult to say if a bowling is going to be able to open up a shot without seeing their release.

FOR ME.....I have drilled up 2 Robos so far and both of them....even the one drilled to roll up pretty early still has a very good backend reaction. The second I drilled for more reaction down the lane....and it does that. I faced carrydown on Saturday and it was the perfect ball to move to.

I have to agree with both of them, and I really agree with the Robo fighting carrydown....when the GP2 sort of quits, the Robo still drives on...it is really something I did not expect at all out of this ball.
