I was always told that they were the same ball, just one was multi-colored and glossy, the other was red and dull.

 May not be correct, but this is what I always was told.

Thanks for the feedback.  

I heard the Assassin had less particle loading, but I have nothing to confirm this.

Core was Power Rev Technology and the cover was ProTraction Plus.
