Consider a heavy oil ball, not right up there with the SCB and GP2, that is still somewhat versatile and moves pretty good. I've been looking at the RR and Battle and wanna see what others say as to how they would compare. I know they are from two different companies in similar arsenal spots so probably not a lot of people are gonna have both, but still looking for some comments. Feel free to comment on the MoRich Seek & Destroy if you feel like it, which is lurking in the consideration pool as well.
I'm gonna post the same thing in the RG forum 'cuz i know a lot of Track people are gonna ring in here.
Thanks in advance!

hurricane,
The Robo and Epic Battle handle similiar lane conditions...but the Robo is stronger overall. The EB is smoother than the Robo, and the Robo has a ton more backend than the EB.

Thanks, Robo sounds like what I'm looking for.

I have not thrown a Robo but, I can say that the Seek and Destroy is ALOT stronger in ALOT of oil that my GP2's were! The SD has more midlane and more backend than the GP2!

I love the S&D. I drilled my first up and used it at oob surface and 400 grit, and it gave me great backend, and would clear the heads suprisingly well. It could be used on anything from medium to heavy, very versitile. I drilled a second for a more even reaction. I didn't love the ball oob, but with a surface adjustment to 4000 grit abralon, it worked wonders.

Carl, have you thrown both ?! The EB has a quicker spin time and stronger mass bias. Drilled the exact same way....I'm not so sure

Jeff,
I have not thrown both. I have though drilled both for the same bowler and that is what he gets out of the balls. They are drilled almost the same only the pin on the Robo is leverage and the pin on the EB is 4 inches from PAP.
