Hey guys,
Thanks to Icetink (again) and nonamekevin for the camerawork, I uploaded some of my vids of the Rule Delta 1
To show you the versatility of this ball, I thew it with 3 different releases so you can pick which style is closest to yours and how the ball would basically look for you. Layout is 4.25x4mb with pin 1.75 above midline..oil was fairly heavy in the center 34 buffed to 42, drier from 5-10 with OB hang outside 5 board.
http://media.putfile.com/deltastroke - stroke release
http://media.putfile.com/Deltatweener - tweener release
http://media.putfile.com/ohhosting - strong tweener
The better thing to watch in these vids is the "exit" angle of the ball as it leaves the deck. When we say this ball has a very continuous finish, we mean it. It was a little strange to see at first but the ball just keeps driving but didn't leave 9 pins like you'd think...check em out. Ramtart and myself (maybe D Pat) will also be doing some more side by side vids within our equipment line for you to see. Hope these help and feel free to ask any questions....
On edit: Forgot to also mention how this ball doesn't quit. From a tighter line to covering some boards to going coast to coast, it wouldn't stop finishing. Actually the vids I cut out were of the ball continuously going high...couldn't stop it from going left once it started.

Rick,
On the "strong Tweener release", aren't you supposed to slide as you're releasing the ball ....
... Not slide ... stop ... then pull the ball through and act like you're a cranker.

You're lucky some ball boy threw 3 or 4 pins at the 9 pins; otherwise they'd still be standing.
Just kidding; couldn't resist. Good videos.
Now for the magic question: How'd you get the lane guy to lay down enough oil so you could actually make these videos? BTM's review of the Delta pictured it as the last great oiler based on a solid resin ball.

Hey charlest, that's the only way I can get to a strong tweener level these days....LOL
Wrongside, watch my wrist position and revs of the ball initially released from my hand and you should be able to see some of the difference but with this color ball it is hard to tell. Speeding up? Not me....I heaved one once at a 10 pin and it got up to 15.8...lol I change revs by thumb drag and wrist strength at the point of release. The deep shots may appear slower but they're not really much slower.

Oh yeah, this ball is a touch under 14lbs gentlemen!! *Hercules, Hercules, Hercules*

You took that in good spirits, Rick.
Wrongside,
also take a look at Rick's angle of rotation at his release point. That is partly responsible for the backend motion, some of that "Strong Tweener" release, and most of the "9 pin" comment I made. Look at the ball position as it falls off the pin deck, as tenpinspro WARNED and I commented upon!
The ball is almost ALWAYS over the 8 pin spot!!!!
Thank God, Rick used a 13 lb ball .....

Thanks Six and guys, trying to offer visuals, that's all.

This is what I meant a while back when I said my place got very O/U, it just changed one day. The magic answer: Head Mechanic nor any employee of the center BOWL!...isn't that like going to a Steakhouse where none of the employees eat steak? so when you say this steak doesn't taste right, they just say, "no it's fine"....doh!

Good vids, Rick.

ttt
And I reallllllly wish I saw enough oil to use my 'stronger' balls (ie. Animal, Phenom, Rule Delta 1, and Rule). They either jump the gun and go high, or they lose speed too quickly and just burn up. The most I usually need is an Xception, lol!
Dan...are you thinking about coming back to throw more Track? Maybe another 300 is waiting just around the corner for you
Looking forward to seeing good quality vids from you guys. I wanna see vids of Dan (taken with something better than a camera phone
). I really like ball comparison vids where the same line is thrown with different balls.

Not bad at all. Very good video.

Hey Rick,
Just wanted to inform you I displayed your Delta 1 vids to a few of my league bowlers and they were so impressed, hell by the next time we bowl, 3 of them should already have one!!!!
Didn't know you could make a ball hook that much! Hmm, you must've had a visit from Raphael Palmero
Random drug test in order for Rick!
Man if I ever see enough oil to use the ball, I'd be happy!

LMAO... yeah it shows. I noticed the 12" guns you were flexing when throwing the ball!
Hey, not only the 3 aforementioned have the ball, but I also got 4 other bowlers from another league going out to get the ball as well!!! I now feel like a salesman for Track
Carrying my laptop whenever I go bowling. Showing your vids (btw, need more) of the Delta. Not only were the blown away from the continuation, but were even more impressed from the versatility. Versatility means more as it appealed to a wider age gap (i.e. there were a couple bowler 55+ in age and don't throw the ball as hard).
I have to use a JEDI Mind trick on the wife so I can get the Delta and Arsenal Reactive! Probably have it in a week or two....

Great videos Rick (I finally got the chance to look at them during some downtime here at the hospital). I would be in the same boat as many others have talked about in using this ball on my local THS, but I think I need the Rule Delta 1 in my bag for sport shot tournaments/league action and other houses that throw down some more oil from time to time....
