Rule GP2
« on: January 29, 2005, 11:08:27 AM »
Hey you guys, this ball is absolutely amazing, especially for low rev player like my self.  It took some getting used to but after that I could be off up to about 5 boards and the ball always came back and I dont think the ball knows what the hell rolling out means!  I love it!  Does anyone know what is the best cleaner to use for that ball, its my first particle ball and I am not sure on how to take care of them and make them last longer, Thanks, Jordan

In Track's line, they have many good cleaners. I would personally choose the Clean N Dull, as it will remove oil and dirt from reactive and particle bowling balls. The cleaner is more effective when used on a ball spinner, but will work if you want to do this at home. Any cleaning is better than NONE!

for the rule GP2, clean and dull is the best way to go, especially if you want to keep it as close to box condition as possible. Drilled one of these for a friend today. He switched to conventional drilling because of a finger injury. I still can't believe the hook and hit on this ball, drilled CONVENTIONAL!! AMAZING!!

Well done again Track!!

Track's instructions say to use Track Clean & Sheen on the GP2.

Jord,

The closest I have gotten the GP2 back to box after use was to use a green scotchbrite pad with clean n dull on it. Doing it by hand seemed to work better. So I go over the entire ball with the scotchbrite and clean n dull...but do not apply pressure...just set it there and go over the ball lightly.

This keeps it very close to box.
