Track Slash
« on: December 07, 2004, 05:45:03 AM »
How many of you have thrown it and what are your thoughts? How does it compare to the Vendetta Black from Dynothane. We punched one up the other day for a customer and it was quite strong. I had loved that core in the old TKO but tried the Vendetta Black (polished) and had luke warm success. Crunchtime is to over/under for the condition and a little to weak - cover wise. Appreciate any input.

If you like the core the coverstock is strong in heavy oil.

Just posted my ameature review as I emailed Ballreview so they'd add the Slash and they added it today.

I too have a Crunch Time and love the core even though the cover isnt' strong enough sometimes.  But the Slash is WAY strong in heavy oil....in a good way

Slash is awesome! Ball has a nice roll and makes a good move and destroys the pins. Really a must need for the tournament bowler whether you throw Track or not due to its consistent roll and move, nothing fancy but everything you need. Mine shines when the fresh shot is broken down a little, where the first ball out of the bag starts to fish on you, I can pick this ball up and have CONFIDENCE I will find a line and be able to compete unil I get locked in.

Any questions, please write.

Hey lefty,

The dull cover allows for a much smoother transition from oil to dry compared to the CT for me.  I'm "assuming" Big-T has pretty good hand cause I also use mine when the shot breaks down some.  I personally can't hook it in heavy..hope this helps some.

I have a track slash and I will always have one becuase I shot my first sanctioned 300 with it last night and had a chance to break the house record but the transition of the lane from the 2nd to 3rd game is nasty in the house I bowl in. The reaction of the slash is just so smooth of the dry I had 20 strikes in a row at one point during the night I feel that I will have many more honor scores with this ball thank you track for making decent equip.
