Even with Scroggins' stroker release, the Delta1 was just too much ball from that outside line: wrong ball. and it was dull!
The Arsenal Aggressive, Blue Heat or Slash would have been a better choice. Just too much backend!

It sounds like the pro's are starting to use more of the top of the line balls opposed to the mid priced ones.

Dunno about that. Almost all the Brunswicks we've seen have been Zones. PDW and Shafer used the Fired Up. Norm used the Diablo. That's all "mid-plus" stuff. Of course, Malott and TJ were using higher-end stuff and tearing 'em up.
We haven't really seen any low-end equipment yet. TJ used an Ice last year in one tournament with success, and Angelo used a PG two years ago. Barnes used a Super Trooper a few times, and Robert Smith used a HRH. But not much this year yet. Still got half the season to go.

As far as the approaches being slippery, what in the heck do they make the SST series for anyway? If he was really having that difficult a time with balance and stability, why did he not change his sole, heal, or both? Isn't that the reason they make those things? You notice how he did not reiterate throwing the ball like a "league bowler" yet he looked more like a league bowler this time around. Kinda funny.

What i'm saying is that pro's have mostly used mid-priced equipment. I feel your going to see a change with more top of the line equipment. The reason I feel this is because the top of the line equipment now is a lot more controllable for higher rev players than equipment from a couple of years ago. At least this is what I have seen with my own experience. We will see if this happens. This is my opinion only.
I'm not saying that mid priced equipment isn't any good. I feel there are a lot of great mid priced balls out there. In fact mid-priced balls have been the most consistant balls on tough lanes for a long time hence why you have seen them in the pro's hands more times than not.

Even WITH the great shoe technology today...both lefties were slipping and slidin! P Allen almost went A over tea kettle!
New Brunswick textured approaches may be the best approaches ever. May even be better than wood! Sweet!
